Aesop Hello Diamond, I'm Aesop from AC Stratics. Congratulations on being our 4th monarch of the month
Diamond - Thank you. I'm very honored to be here
Aesop Lets get started with the questions.
Diamond - Alrighty ...
Aesop First off, when did you first start playing Asherons Call?
Diamond - Well.. I was one of the first beta testers.. I think thats when I knew I was hooked. In all .. about 2 1/2 years now I think.
Aesop When did you first decide to become a monarch? And why?
Diamond - It was about a year ago, last Feb. that I became Monarch.
Diamond - We had some issues with our previous Monarch and some of us decided we needed to start over... with a clean slate. And.. well.. I was nominated as I had already had the largest portion of the original allegiance under me.
Diamond - He was a great Monarch. Taughts us a lot, but we needed to change.
Aesop What do you think is the most important quality a monarch should have?
Diamond - I believe that a Monarch should always be willing to give his/her last pyreal to help his/her followers.
Diamond - Its not the Monarch that MAKES an allegiance. S/he just sets the pace that others will follow.
Aesop What guidance or suggestions would you give a person who was interested in becoming a monarch?
Diamond - Hmmm... I think I would have to say.. if you are thinking of becoming your own Monarch... be very patient and never try to force/coerce anyone to join. Loyalty should be earned and treasured.
Diamond - Its rare enough to find those people who will follow you to BZ
Diamond - 's layer and willing to sacrafice everything.. and even rarer to find those who will stay through thick and thin.
Diamond - If you earn their loyalty you earn their trust and a solid relationship is formed.
Aesop What do you believe is the most important job of a monarch?
Aesop And why?
Diamond - To listen and give support. I don't mean be a parent or anything. But to listen when they have a complaint of where to hunt or what to do.
Diamond - And to give support in where to do those things.
Diamond - A Monarch should know who to contact for the different quests and such that are out there... and know when to get involved directly.
Diamond - Not every quest is open for a Monarch, but sometimes knowing who can help them on that quest will be of more help then actually being there.
Diamond - It all boils down to good communication.

Aesop How many followers do you have?
Diamond - Currently I have 447
Aesop What is your least, and most favorite thing about Asherons Call?
Diamond - Least favorite is easy.. everyone always trash talking on the server's about going to DT and they'll learn who ownes who. It always bugs me that people will talk that way when its obvious that they are not on DT. Its just a game.. people need to relax some
Diamond - Most favorite is all the friends I've made here. I've gotten to know some very great people. Not only in my allegiance, but Monarch's of other allegiances as well as their followers.
Diamond - Alliances are a great thing and can often enhance your own allegiance through those friendships
Aesop What server do you play on?
Diamond - I play Leafcull exclusively. Running a Monarchy and trying to play on other servers ends up just making me feel guily. I am a serious player in that I do my best in the job I have. But, I've also learned to rely on those around me to help manage things.
Aesop What Race is your character?
Diamond - Diamond is Aluvian to the core.
Diamond - Devote follower of the Code of Pwyll.
Aesop What type of character is Diamond? (ie. Mage/Swordfighter etc...
Diamond - He's an archmage (all four schools.. he can often be found spending time practicing his lock picking skills and dabbles in cooking. I like to be able to help the followers as often as possible.
