<Dariuas> Hail Monarch Stryfe!
<Stryfe> Heya Dariuas :), what can i do you for today?
<Dariuas> I come with a want to interview you.
<Stryfe> I'd be honored for you to interview me.
<Dariuas> You have been selected as the first ever Monarch of the Month at Asheron's Call Stratics.
<Stryfe> Wow me? Then i'm deeply honored then. There's so many great monarchs out there, just glad to be doing my job.
<Stryfe> And having a good time doing it :).
<Dariuas> From what has been told, and what we have seen, you were the choice to start this long haul of honoroing great monarchs.
<Dariuas> Okay, I will start off with an easy one.
<Dariuas> Why did you answer the Call?
<Stryfe> Hmmm... from the very beginning you mean or when i became a monarch?
<Dariuas> Why did you answer the call of Asheron?
<Dariuas> Better put, why did you venture though portal space to come to the lands of Dereth.
<Stryfe> I answered the Call because i felt like a challenge was there for me and Asheron needed my help to pick up those who are down on there luck, those who are lead astray and need a safe journey home, but most of all to become something more to myself and to lead to my destiny.
<Dariuas> What destiny was that, and do you feel you have reached that destiny?
<Stryfe> My destiny is to become someone greater to those who see me than who i see myself. So far, in the warriors of Dereth, i have been given the respect and appreciation of who i am. I know i can be more than what i am now, one can always better oneself. My goal is to do what i can to, not just the people in my allegiance, but to those in Dereth who need help. That destiny will never have an end, but it will have its rewards striving
<Dariuas> Wow. Never thought of it that way.
<Dariuas> Please, tell me how you came to be a monarch
<Stryfe> I do what i can :).
<Stryfe> Growing up from a wise patron named Amazon-Hana, who taught me how to construct a character to be proficient in Dereth, i came to grow and mature as a person; almost never leading to being selfish, cause that's what person i admire and vow to be no matter what the case. Her reign as my patron grew to an end early and i had to become a leader, but not yet. I joined with another allegiance, pledging to the monarch, and there is wh
<Stryfe> Being that it may, my strength as a leader and a mage drained out of me, and i had to become a watcher so that i may heal my wounds. I knew that i would return to Dereth to become even more stronger than i had in past times, but patience, patience was the key to my rise to my destiny. Gaining my strength day by day, mentally as well as physically, i vowed to return to become once again, Stryfe, a respected well-known mage that p
<Stryfe> able to physically have all my vassals under me once again. Once that was in order, the rest is history.
<Dariuas> Ok, and as a monarch, what do you plan the feature of your alliegance to be like
<Stryfe> What i want most out of my allegiance is to be noble, courteous, humble, friendly, everything a Knight is asked of him and more. To be able to laugh at danger and take pride in what you're worth. Helping each other well make life so much easier. I always write this phrase at the end of every message i write on my message board, "it never hurts to help," and i hope everyone could have that in them somewhere.
<Dariuas> Finaly, what can you advise to new monarchs, or Patrons/Vassals, who one day want to start their own Alleigance, what can you recomend.
<Stryfe> Be true to yourself, don't change because people want you to change. You're unique for a reason. Asheron would not have called upon you if you were like everyone else. If you feel in your heart that you're up for the task and responsibilites of being a monarch, then more power to you. Just remember, everything you do or say reflects upon you as well as who you have as vassals/followers, they will reflect what you are.
