David Bowman

2. How did you come to work at Turbine?

Worked at Bungie, wanted to do MMPs, applied, got the job.

3. What other jobs have you had?

Designer at Bungie. Orientation and Mobility instructor in Arizona, Illinois and Ecuador. Junior High teacher in Japan.

4. Do you work on anything else besides AC (and can you tell us about it)?

Yes. No.

5. If you could add or change one thing in AC, what would that be?

The number of players... I would add 1,000,000 or more.

6. What's the most amusing or embarrassing death you've had or witnessed in AC?

Players were using a physics exploit on Darktide to pop themselves through doors. After the prop, they fell into a pool of acid. While I admire the creativity displayed in the first place, the consternation displayed after a dip in the acid pool was quite amusing.

7. Are you in an allegiance and do your allegiance members know you're at Turbine?

Yes. Some do.

8. Have you played any other MMORPGs and are you looking forward to any upcoming ones?

I've played UO and EQ. I'm curious about several of the promised new experiences and will surely play them as they come on-line. Neverwinter Nights is the closest to an MMORPG that I'm actually looking forward to.

9. What's the current in-office LAN game?

Counter-Strike. Though a recent resurgence of Starcraft has been interesting.

10. Favourites:

Eric Clapton, Matrix, Sashimi, Judo. AC1, Counter-Strike, Myth 1 & 2.

11. What was the first computer game you played?

Pong.

12. What would you like appreciative fans to send as gifts?

Photos.

13. Did you get your pre-patch Greater Shadow Armour in time?

Gave it away.

Fasten and then zip unless they are too tight, then reverse.

15. Because of the lead- and asbestos-lined walls at Turbine's offices, you all survive the apocalypse - who'd get voted Supreme Leader?

Hmmmm.... you think I'd let them vote? :-)
