1. What is your name and/or nickname?

Chris "Hakai" Clay

2. How did you come to work at Turbine?

I was found by Ian Wilmoth, he had done one of my online tutorials on character setup and I had also answered some of his Maya questions on the Maya Mailing List.

3. What other jobs have you had?

I was the Head Lab Instructor For Character Setup and Design at Full Sail in Orlando Florida.

4. Do you work on anything else besides AC (and can you tell us about it)?

I think I'm currently the only person in the company that has nothing to do with AC. Though that will be changing in December. All of my work is related to the Turbine Engine 2.0, and as such I really can't say much about it except its awesome!

5. If you could add or change one thing in AC, what would that be?

Jesse yells at me when I make design suggestions, I've learned to not look directly into the bright red light anymore...it burns.

6. What's the most amusing or embarrassing death you've had or witnessed in AC?

The first time I saw an Ash Gromnie I was so terrified that I jumped right off the edge of a cliff and nearly lost my prized 140% x-bow from my monarch. I remember running towards the cliff and only thinking..."if it catches me I'm dead." Well I ended up dead another way.

7. Are you in an allegiance and do your allegiance members know you're at Turbine?

Yes I'm in an allegiance on DarkTide, and the only people who know who I am in real life are some guys under me who work at Valve.

8. Have you played any other MMORPGs and are you looking forward to any upcoming ones?

I played UO, and I really enjoyed the trade skill aspects of it. I'm not really to interested in anything that's going to be coming out in the near future. We'll see.

9. What's the current in-office LAN game?

Half-Life: Counter Strike

Swords & Sorcery(On the Apple IIe)

12. What would you like appreciative fans to send as gifts?

Valve sent us really cool t-shirts and an autographed box of Half-Life, that's the best gift I've ever gotten. It sounds corny, but make a donation to a charitable cause in Turbine's Name.

13. Did you get your pre-patch Greater Shadow Armour in time?

I've killed hundreds of Fragments and I've only got 1 small shard...even now.

Zip then fasten.

15. Because of the lead- and asbestos-lined walls at Turbine's offices, you all survive the apocalypse - who'd get voted Supreme Leader?

It depends on who wins the Foosball game to determine who should be supreme leader.
